In this production seven Alaskan finalists are judged on accuracy and performance as they recite classic poetry on the Juneau stage. This is Poetry Out Loud, a national recitation contest which encourages the nation's youth to learn about great poetry through memorization and performance. This exciting program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about their literary heritage.
